Celestials are pretty awesome too. Not the same as “pop eyed” goldfish; those have back fins and the eyes jut straight out. Celestials have eyes in more massive orbs wich are carefully selected to point straight up so that they’re always “looking towards heaven,” or something like that.
These like many other Fancy goldfish breeds also have a tail branching in two, another highly unnatural mutation people seldom point out.
This means that breeders cull the ones whose eyes veer off in two random directions, which stinks because I’d want like a hundred of those.
