Featured in my list of the strangest Cnidaria, fly-trap anemones live in the deep sea abyss where food can be quite scarce, and have adapted to make sure it doesn’t get away. While other anemones rely on the stickiness of their stinging tentacles, these guys have a folding book-like shape where the tentacles form more of an interlocking prison!
